Makoro Floating Pontoon

Makoro’s modular floating system, the Makoro Pontoon, is engineered for strength, versatility, and long-term performance across a wide range of marine, industrial, and waterfront applications. Each pontoon cube measures 500 mm × 500 mm × 400 mm and is manufactured from durable, UV-stabilised polyethylene, providing exceptional resistance to harsh environmental conditions, impact, and prolonged outdoor exposure.

Designed with a robust anti-slip surface, reinforced connection lugs, and an automatic locking system, the Makoro Pontoon offers a safe and stable floating platform solution for marinas, jetties, floating walkways, work platforms, fish-farming structures, water parks, recreational facilities, and temporary or permanent bridges. The integrated connection system uses reinforced lugs and locking pins, allowing individual cubes to be quickly and securely connected to create platforms of virtually any size or configuration.

Each pontoon cube delivers a buoyancy force of 981 N and provides approximately 70 kg of floating capacity when 50% submerged, ensuring reliable flotation and stability for a wide range of applications. Designed to withstand temperatures ranging from -60°C to +80°C, the Makoro Pontoon remains dependable in both extreme cold and intense heat.

Makoro Pontoons are designed with environmental responsibility in mind, using non-toxic materials that resist marine growth while minimizing environmental impact. The system can be anchored using a variety of proven methods, including concrete anchors, mooring chains, and pole anchoring systems, allowing installation flexibility across different water conditions and site requirements.
