All Makoro bricks are manufactured to exceed 17 MPa in compressive strength and comply with the BOBS BOS:28 standard for shape, appearance, texture, colour, and durability. Each brick is precisely sized at 222 × 106 × 73 mm, ensuring structural consistency and easy integration on-site. On average, 54 bricks are required per square metre of walling.
FBX (Face Brick Extra): Units that are selected or produced for their durability and high degree of uniformity of size, shape and colour. This is Makoro’s first-grade premium option, ideal for applications where maximum consistency and neatness are essential.
FBS (Face Brick Standard): Units that are selected or produced for their durability and uniformity of size and shape. This second-grade option offers natural variation while maintaining structural strength, making it suitable for flexible face work.
